Amity Community Services has developed a pocket guide designed as a quick-reference tool for those who may encounter young people engaging in inhalant use. The guide provides:
- Basic care and response steps for volatile substance inhalation
- Practical harm minimisation strategies to help keep young people safe
- Easy-to-follow instructions that can be carried and referred to in the moment
This resource aims to build confidence in responding to inhalation incidents and encourages a harm reduction approach – focusing on keeping young people safe and connected to support.
If you or your organisation would like copies of this pocket guide to share with staff, volunteers, or young people in your care, please let us know how many you would like, and we will arrange distribution.
