Ramingining and Galiwin'ku are bustling with housing works, with locals doing the heavy lifting to build homes and complete their apprenticeships.
In Ramingining, a new 33-lot subdivision is complete, along with 11 new homes under construction, marking the halfway mark of the housing program in the community.
Ramingining community is set to receive 51 new homes, of which 22 are already complete.
In Galiwin'ku, housing works are close to the halfway mark, with 40 new homes delivered by Aboriginal Business Enterprise Bukmak Constructions.
Galiwin'ku community is set to receive 87 new houses. A new 27 lot subdivision in Galiwin’ku is nearing completion with new housing construction to commence within the subdivision in late 2024.
Galiwin'ku is also programmed to receive Room to Breathe upgrades to 45 homes, of which 9 are complete.
